I love jars! Even when I was at Uni one of my pieces for my graphic design work, was all created using  jars (which may I add got published in Japan, go me! ) Todays DIY is super easy! All you will need is some acrylic paint, a nail file, mode podge and some jars with writing on. I got my jars and paint from the range, they had an amazing variety of  colours in the acrylic paint in the craft section,
not the art part.
Apply your first coat of acrylic paint to your jar, allow this to dry fully before applying another coat, it took me 3 coats to fully cover my jar. If you get impatient, like I did, and paint your next coat whilst the one underneath is still tacky you may end up taking some paint off. If this happens let it dry and pick away any thick pieces around were your patch has happened so that its smoother for you to
fill it in with more paint

Once your jar is dry using your nail file, file away at the writing and neck of the jar, creating a rustic look. Once you have done this, coat with mod podge to seal your jar, this means you can wipe it clean but don’t submerge it in water!

Thats it, all done! Its a great way to get the perfect colour accessory to match your decor!
Dont forget to tweet me any photos if you do any of my DIY’s
Much Love
