I absolutely love autumn, but I had decided that this year I wouldn’t have the time to find or create any autumn decor for our home, it’s not exactly a priority when you have every room to decorate….well of course that lasted for all of one week! As soon as I saw those pumpkins and berries in the store, my thoughts of “no autumn decor” had completely disappeared.

I didn’t go too crazy, and I think I kept it quite simple, and I definitely went more towards autumn than halloween. I opted for orange and white florals, and my Mum gave me a simple berry garland, which I added those cheap craft leaves you buy in packs. I also picked up these adorable, and cheap, pumpkins from my local One Below, I bought quite a few of these, as I knew it would be something I could get out every year. I also changed up the items on my mantle, not necessarily fall themed items, but picking items with orange and darker tones to compliment the foliage. I also delved into my Christmas stash and brought out the willow wreath, which when paired with the autumn foliage, looked like it had belonged to the season all along! I feel like my decor is quite simple but it has completely transformed the feel of our living room!

I also had a little play adding to our dining room too, it was my first time filling this unit ever, so it was really fun to have a little theme to guide me, whilst styling such a big piece.

For someone who wasn’t going to decorate, I don’t think I’ve done too bad! But watch this space, this time next year, it’ll be pumpkin spice at every turn haha!

Much Love
